A Few Thoughts from
"Ricco" 
 
Been there, seen it, done it ... all over the world. Production manager,
road manager, A-1, live sound mixer, broadcast engineer and more!

When I started out in this business, we took gigs on a handshake. Within a week of my first handshake, I was on my way to Japan and my first world tour as a roadie for young Stevie Wonder. For nearly 20 years, I called the road my home over 200 days a year.
 
Busses, planes, Ryder trucks and even a Lear jet or two, I've amassed a boxful of passports and tour laminates and done shows throughout all 50 United States, every Canadian province save one, Asia and Australia. I've crossed the pond numeous times to Europe, Scandinavia, the British Isles, and countries all around the Mediterranean.


Today, world travel is much more complex and the requirements of live sound reproduction much more exacting.
 
If it is important that your production creates first class results, then experience really counts. You need a seasoned professional. There are no "do-overs" when it comes to live events. Known for my precise ears, I've spent many years in the hottest seat of them all, the onstage monitor mixer job.
 
 
So why am I called "Ricco"?
 
When we get busy and those intercoms get crackling, it's hard to keep track of all the similar names on the crew, so I took on  "Ricco" as my call handle ... being half Sicilian by birth, it seems to fit.
 
So you can call me Rick, or you can call me Ricco, but don't ever call me late for dinner. Just call me!
